Once known as the Tidewater Inn, our storied property has been reimagined into a vibrant Marseille-inspired escape—a place where travelers don’t just check in, they arrive. Inspired by the bustling port cities of the 1920s, The Uncommoner invites guests into a world where every corner hums with character, and every room tells a different tale.

Gone are the soft pastels and nautical clichés of the Cape. In their place: jewel-toned velvets, gilded fringe, vintage curiosities, and an unapologetic love for the romantic and the bold. Think French port opulence meets road trip rebel soul.
